Blewett, a mining community originally known as Carbonville, is on Farm Road 1022 and Turkey Creek five miles southeast
of Cline in far southwestern Uvalde County.
Our first family members to live in Blewett, TX were Catarino and Rufugia "Cuca" Martinez in 1926. Their children
and even some grandchildren resided in the town as late as 1959.
Blewett, TX coordinates are: latitude 29° 11' 5" N and longitude 100° 1' 49" W.
